On November 21st to 22nd, 2014, the 11th National Municipal Cable Television Conference of Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Chengdu (JJHY2014) was held in Shanghai. Focusing on the theme of “integrative development and innovative service”, more than 300 representatives of cable network operators who are from various provinces and cities in nationwide have shared experiences and explored the trend.
Xie Hu, president of Shanghai Sino Telecom Co. Ltd, has given a speech with the topic of WDM EPON System-Helps Broadcast and Television Network to Realize FTTH Complete Coverage. As an important partner of China Mobile and China Telecom, Sino Telecom has accumulated many years of technical experiences in optical communication field and launched highly competitive WDM-EPON scheme which can improve more than 8 times of utilization rate of the existing optical fiber resources. Taking advantage of the scheme , the broadcasting will not be limited to the problem that optical fiber resource is not enough from the machine room to the community, and quickly realize FTTH complete coverage.
The conference greatly improves the popularity of Sino Telecom in broadcasting field, provides strong support for the company to make substantial progress in broadcasting field, and hand in hand creates a better prospect with broadcasting.
